Future of Food

Here in NYC, the food and tech space is growing rapidly. On August 21st, I had the pleasure of attending Future of Local Media’s Eat. Blog. Love. The Future of Food, which explored some of the ways technology is being used to change how we interact with and experience food.

The event brought together a variety of entrepreneurs, food bloggers, activists, and even New York State Department of Agriculture & Markets’ Bob Lewis. The event was moderated by Capture Your Flag Founder Erik Michielsen and Mouth of the Border Founder Emily Cavalier. Panelists included:

What struck me about this event was the sheer number of food and tech entrepreneurs and bloggers in one room. This is a new space that is just beginning to be explored and defined.
