Last Friday, I was extremely fortunate to attend The Feast Conference organized by AlldayBuffet. The Feast brings together creative entrepreneurs to feast on good, inspire action, share best practices, and create valuable connections that will change the world.
There were definitely a couple of major themes that echoed throughout the conference such as:
Power of the web to foster connectivity & community
Data-driven decision making
Many of the speakers used food as either an example or a medium for discussing these concepts.

NakedPizza is a New Orleans-based chain that seeks to change the nutritional profile of fast food in America. Co-founder Robbie Vitrano spoke about the diversity of our colon and how he is using an innovative business model to fight the health crisis.
Rachel Botsman is the co-author of the recently released What’s Mine is Yours: The Rise of Collaborative Consumption. She spoke about the power of collaboration and sharing, and on how it is transforming the way we live and do business.
Mitchell Joachim is the Co-Founder at Terreform ONE. He spoke about some of the technologies and innvations his group is exploring to improve the sustainability of our cities, including energy, transportation, infrastructure, buildings, waste treatment, food, water, and media spaces.
