MycoTechnology is raising $5-$10M to develop its technology platform aimed at enhancing food flavors naturally, while major food companies are eying it for acquisition.
The acquisition, which Dutch media reported to be in the $11 million range, gives TripAdvisor a leading restaurant reservations review site.
The funding came from Israeli-focused crowdfunding platform OurCrowd and will enable the startup to commercialize its products.
Han-Sing Hi-Tech Fund, TransLink Capital and RRE Ventures contributed. The round will go toward R&D and working capital.
