Our friends at Local Food Lab are launching their Food Startup Bootcamp tour this Saturday and the first stop is New York City. The full-day, intensive business course is designed to empower budding food and farm entrepreneurs to create businesses that contribute to a healthier, more just and more resilient food system.
Students will learn the basics of developing and launching a new food business and will leave with an actionable strategy on how to plan, pitch, launch and grow their food businesses. Good news, it’s not too late to sign up. As a member of the FTC community, sign up today using the code “FTC” and save $150 on your ticket (normally $395).
A panel of NYC-based food entrepreneurs will share their startup experiences and help coach students on how to build sustainable food and farm businesses. Panelists include Gabi Lewis, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Exo, Josh Cook, CEO and Co-Founder of Nextdoorganics, Brian Ballan, Founder of A&B American Style Condiments and our own Danielle Gould.
Don’t Live in New York? The bootcamp is a condensed version of Local Food Lab’s 6-week Silicon Valley accelerator program and will tour to 10 major cities in the next year. Upcoming dates and cities include: Washington D.C. on November 15 and San Francisco on January 10.
