We LOVE this beautifully shot homage to the craft of butchery produced by Ashton Kutcher's Thrash Lab. “The Subculture of Butchers” tells the story of the butchery renaissance and it's impact on farmers, culture and community through interviews with three independent San Francisco Bay Area butcher shops: 4505 Meats, Avedano’s Holly Park Market and Local Butcher Shop. The video is also narrated by Marissa Guggiana, author of Primal Cuts and co-founder of The Butchers Guild.

These are the stories that turn hipsters into butchers, and vegetarians, or pescatarians (like myself pre-Hack//Meat), into meat lovers. Enjoy!
