San Francisco’s growing Food and Tech community gathered together to explore the state of the emerging sector at a Food Startups Meetup, organized by Matthew Wise, Q&A panel moderated by Xconomy San Francisco Editor Wade Roush. The panel featured industry leaders, including:

The conversation got particularly interesting when Roush asked panelists tough questions about whether the food startup sector is too “frothy,” and about how “investable” the sector is from a venture capital perspective focused on high-growth investments (39:30 in the video).
