Jimmy’s No. 43 is one of NYC’s greatest local food and drink destinations. Owner Jimmy Carbone is a pillar of the good food community and an incredible supporter of food and arts organizations including FTC and many, many others.
Unfortunately, Jimmy’s had to close unexpectedly for 2 weeks+ due to the recent East Village explosion and fire, which occurred right next door. Now Jimmy and his team need all the help they can get to repair the damage to the restaurant, re-stock spoiled food and get back on their feet.
So we’re bringing the community together to pay it forward (and back!) to one of our favorite local food heroes for a Food+Tech Meetup/fundraiser for Jimmy’s No 43 on Wednesday, April 29. 100% OF THE PROCEEDS will go to Jimmy’s.
Local snacks from Quinciple, food360, Made by Lukas and Heritage Foods USA and drinks from, Brooklyn Brewery, Brooklyn Winery, Brooklyn Farmacy and Hella Bitters. BONUS: There will be a raffle with goodies from Dig Inn, Heritage Radio, Quinciple, Cathy Erway + More.
If you can’t join us on April 29 or would like to make an additional contribution to help Jimmy get back on his feet, please head over to the Jimmy’s No. 43 store page now.
